Each time I start word, excel, etc... Microsoft Installer runs. I suspect its
from a corrupt add in. This originally happened with Office 2000 but still
occurs since I uninstalled 2000 and installed 2003. This also prompted for
the setup CD until I copied the CD to the Hard drive for the 2003 install.
Every startup directory in office and user directories are empty so it
doesn't appear to have anything to load at application startup. Is there any
way that I can determine what Microsoft Installer is trying to install?
All I get displayed is a Cancel box. Not really an issue but it seems to add
a couple minutes to application startup times which is very annoying.
Pressing cancel just shows a generic install failure message and the
application still starts.
