How Do I sum Filtered Columns?

S

Sanjay Chavda

Date Quality IN/OUT
1/12 tea 5
1/12 sugar -2
2/12 tea 3
3/12 tea -1
Total 5
When I use Auto Filter and Select Only "tea" then excel should display Total
for Tea only.

Date Quality^ IN/OUT
1/12 tea 5
2/12 tea 3
3/12 tea -1
Total 7
Note: I can not Use SumIf Function.

Use subtotal

=SUBTOTAL(9,Range)

will only sum visible cells, look at help and you'll see you can get
many more functions like count, average, max and min etc..
