When using my previous PC with Outlook Express under Win
98 I could switch email accounts by clicking on File and
selecting the switch identities option.
I just set up my new PC with Win XP Home Edition running
Office Outlook 2003. I have set up both accounts and
they are visible under the Tools, email accounts, view
existing accounts option. However, I see no way to
switch between them.
I have spent several hours working with my provider
(sbcglobal.net, a DSL service) and with the PC
manufacturer to no avail. In fact Dell told me to
contact a pay for help service on my 2 day old PC, which
turns me against them enough to consider shipping my new
PC back to them, and Microsoft says they will not help me
because Dell installed the software.
Any options other than paying to have someone tell me how
to do what was easy on my old machine? Or giving Dell
and Microsoft back their new and improved system and
going back to the old stuff that works? (Hope my current
upset state is not too obvious).
Thanks for any help,
Mike
