How do I sync email with windows mobile pda?

I have a HP Ipaq and I am trying to sync with my outlook 2007! I have been
able to sync with my contacts but not my inbox. I have checked my sync
options and the inbox is checked. Is there something I am not doing that is
making this more difficult than it should be?
