How do I tab the second line in a reference list?

I am trying to create an APA style reference list and when I try to tab just
the second line of an entry it automatically tabs over the first line as well
so that they are both perfectly aligned with each other. I just want the
first line left aligned and anything that wraps around be tabbed in. I'm
using Word 2003. Please advise. Thank you.
