How do I tile a graphic to be used as a webpage background?

FrontPage 2000; I've developed a multi-page website; the majority of the
pages have a standard background. On some of the pages a jpg graphics have
been used; graphics are transparent and have been tiled. Just discovered
that one of the graphics is not showing up on some computers. I worked on
graphic to make it less transparent but when I changed the background through
format it will not come up as tiled, and I can't remember how I did this
before. Searched help and it referred to the borders and shading; but this
didn't answer my question. Thank you for assistance.

JPGs are never transparent. GIFs can have a single transparent color.
Chances are, if the background image is not showing up in some browsers, the
computers they are being seen on don't support the number of colors you're
using in your image, and are re-interpreting a pale color as white. However,
it's hard to tell for sure from your description.

Insert the graphic as the background image; it will automatically be tiled.
Page Properties > etc.
