how do i title columns

If you don't have a blank row above your cols make sure
your cursor is in the first row. On the toolbar click Insert
then Row. You should now have a blank row across the top of your
sheet simply click in the cell and type.

If you mean change the A,B,C to something more meaningful such as "Name",
"Address", "City" etc., you can't.

You can use row 1 for your titles then select A2 or B2 if you also want column
A frozen and Window>Freeze Panes.

Now go to Tools>Options>View and uncheck "Row and Column Headers".
