How do I track deleted rows in word tables?

I have a table in word that has a row that needs to be deleted. My problem
is that if i delete the row it will not track the change but if I just delete
the words the blank row remains.

What version of Word are you using? I'm on Word 2003 and this type of
deletion is tracked properly.
