How do I transfer completed InfoPath forms to another PC?

I have forms created in InfoPath which I want to be able to open on my
laptop. When I try to open the forms my laptop tells me it cannot locate the
template. I have republished the template to the laptop but this does not
resolve the problem so I assume that the completed document therefore
contains the original template location somewhere. Is there a way I can copy
the completed forms or even to resave them on my desktop in a way they can be
read elsewhere?

Many thanks

hi,
based on my understanding ...,
if u open the completed form(eg. Form1.xml) in a text editor,
You will see the location of the template file in the first line,
eg.: href="file:///D:\myTemplate1.xsn"
eg.: href="http://mysharepoint/project1/Forms/template.xsn"

Hence, if u publish the template to a common location(eg. webserver, network
drive or sharepoint).
Then, u fill up the form from first pc and saved it.
When u move Form1.xml from first pc to second pc, you will still be able to
read it.)

When opening Form1.xml in the second pc for the very first time, infopath
will find the template from the common location, and download it to the
second pc.
Subsequently, when the second pc is offline, Form1.xml will still be
readable, since the template is already downloaded.

Hope this help.
Anyone, please feel free to correct me where i am wrong.
