How do I transfer my personal folder list to a new computer?

Anyone know how to transfer my personal folder list from my old comp. to my
new one? It has all the correspondence I have saved over the past 2 years.
I am wondering if I can save the folders somewhere, like the contacts? Ive
tried to export a pst but it does not save the folders and subfolders for
some reason.

Thanks

Just *copy* your pst file. That contains all your email, calendar. tasks and
contacts.

When I copy a folder, it gives me the option of copying it to another folder
in Outlook only. When i export the personal file folders, it DOES show all
of them copying, but when I try to copy the exported pst file to the cd drive
to be burned, it says ...encountered problem copying, every time. The only
time there was an exception, it only exported my addresses, not my folders,
even though it showed them copying to the exported file, only my addresses
imported. And not all of them for some reason.

Why are you bothering with "export"? just find your *.pst file, (right-click
on Personal Folders or Outlook Today depending on your version, choose
"properties" and click on the Advanced button - that will tell you where
your pst file is).
*Close* Outlook, and copy that pst file to a CD.
Transfer the CD to the new machine.
Copy the pst file from the CD to anywehere on the new HDD but DO NOT
overwrite the existing pst file. Remove the Read-only attribute of the
copied pst file.
Then open Outlook, and go to File-Open-Outlook Data File and navigate to
where you saved the old pst file.
Then just drag all your data from the old pst file to the new.
