How do I trouble shoot web pages that freeze up when I save?

I have a web site created in Front Page 2003. For two weeks I've had a
problem with the program freezing up (eternity hour glass and task manager
says not responding) when I make a change to a page and click save.

Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.
