How do I troubleshoot a project that is marked checked out when i.

We have a project that is checked out when trying to open it. However, the
user who it is checked out by doesn't have it checked out. How do I get it
checked back in? And, how and why does this happen?

Carol,
Follow these steps to "check Project in"
1. Go into Project Web Access
2. Go to Admin
3. Select Manage Enterprise Features
4. In the left column, under Enterprise Options select "Check in Enterprise
Projects"
5. Highlight the project you want checked in
6. Select "check in"
