How do I troubleshoot windows explorer to be able to move files

PC Issues 'r' me

For reasons unbeknownst to me, when I right click on START and try to use
EXPLORE to see all my drives, folders, etc...windows shuts it down.

What happened that it's not working any longer?

Also, if I try to move files by using "send to", windows also shuts that down.

Help!! I have windows XP operating system with Microsoft Office 2003 and
it's associated programs.

You need to post your question in a Windows XP newsgroup. Explorer is not a
part of Office.
