How do i turn off a command that says "command is not available b.

i want to know how to turn it off. it is on microsoft word. it says "this
command is not available because the document is locked for edit", i didnt
set any kind of lock on it! and i cant use any other buttons! i cant type
anytrhing because thats all it keeps saying on the bottom of the screen. I
use microsoft word for my assignments, and this just happened yesterday.

This message indicates that your trial version has expired or that your full
version has not been activated. In either case, the app has gone into
Reduced Functionality mode.
