How do I turn off autocomplete dates in Office XP?

When I type 2003 at the end of a line in Word XP it wants
to add the rest of the date (backwards ie yyyy-mm-dd).
How do I stop it? I have searched through all the
autocomplete and autocorrect options, and can't find
anywhere to turn it off, or any autotext "date" entries to
remove.
I NEVER actually want the date typed that way - I always
use the d-m-yyyy format, so it is starting to p me off.
I don't want to turn off any of my other autocomplete
entries, as I use them quite a bit, but I want to get rid
of this one.

Hi G.,

Take a look in Insert=>Date & Time in Word
and the Windows Control Panel's regional
settings to see what date formats are presently set.

In the Autotext tab in Tools=>Autocorrect options
turn off the [x] Show Autocomplete suggestions.
