How do I turn off automatic bold formatting of cells below other bolded cells?

S

I have a sheet I use as a template in which I bolded cells b1-b8. I
left b9 and b10 blank with no bolding. b10 is bolded. When I select any
cell below b10 it shows as not bolded. When I enter data in b11 it
automatically converts to bold. I dont want it to do this. I want to
turn this extremely annoying feature off, butI can't find the switch.
Any help out there would be appreciated.

Thanks...

Uncheck the Extend Formats and Formulas checkbox in Preferences/Edit.
