How do I turn off inbox filter?

I have tried all steps posted, and still my mail goes into the 'black hole'.
I am not a geek, so I need a step by step. Nothing going into junk mail.

Try the View menu in whatever version of Outlook you are using

Right click in an empty area of your Outlook main window, select the Advanced Toolbar. Use the dropdown to select "All Messages" for your view.
