How do I turn off my computer saying "you have xx unread mails"?

Whenever I turn on Outlook my computer tells me how many emails I have. It
doesn't have speech recognition set up on it and doesn't do this for any
other program.

Do you have a Toshiba laptop? If so, I think there's some software that came
with it that does that. It's not Outlook itself doing that.
