How do I turn off the reminder for appointments in outlook as the.

I'm creating lots of new appointments in the calendar of outlook which then
syncs to my palm. I don't want to have to keep turning off the reminder. I
would like the default for new appointments to be without a reminder. all
advice is welcome! thanx!
