How do I turn off the send-message popup

I'm sick of it! It's making me crazy!

When I remote-desktop into another machine (my laptop) and type, it's
constantly popping up to ask me if I want to send a message...

The only message I want to send is that this feature is annoying and I want
it OFF!

Unfortunately this is a hotkey that Groove uses and seems to become more
prolific through the use of remote desktop or terminal services.

Every morning I turn on my computer, and I have to hit the F.Lock key because
Microsoft thinks I should use F2 for Undo instead of Rename....

This behavior *could* have been controlled by a dip-switch. Set it once,
and forget it.

Now Groove wants to take over the shift key... Well fine. Up until now I've
been pushing for our PSO organization to start using Groove when more than
one of us (scattered about the country as we are) are assigned to the same
project.

I can't see myself promoting it anymore...since *I* won't use it until and
unless I can turn off that feature.

I suggest forcing the developers to do their work via RDP, with Groove
running, and see just how long it takes to be switchable.

We have the same problem!

People in our Groove evaluation study are constantly accidentally typing the
shift key twice while writing and they can't stand the pop up constantly
interrupting their work. I truly hope our decision to roll-out Groove to the
entire enterprise is not thwarted by a stupid usability bug like this!

There MUST be a workaround. If any program and add a global hotkey to
windows, surely there is a way to disrupt this setting at least at the
windows level.

Microsoft please advise!
