How do I turn on 3-D Settings for an Auto Shape?

Make sure the Drawing Toolbar is displayed, then select the AutoShape &
click the 3D button at the right end of the toolbar. Select the effect you
want. Then you can go to the button again, select 3D Settings to modify the
effects using the special toolbar that appears.

Thanks for the reply. Problem is that I've been doing that and it's not
working. I'm able to click on the shape in my document and I'm able to chage
the "Shadow Style" but when I click on 3-D none of the options are available
(highlighted). Is it possible that I have some setting turned on to prevent
me from using this option?

You are most likely just running up against the fact that 3D effects can't
be applied to *all* autoshapes - perhaps you're using one of those. Try
creating a simple rectangle & see if the 3D options are active when you
select it.
