How do I turn ON the junk e-mail function in outlook?

The junk e-mail folder in the Outlook Mail Folders viewpane has suddenly
stopped removing junk mail, and has a red circle on it with a diagonal line
(like the circles for "no smoking" or "no bull_ _ _ _"). How did it get
turned off? How do I turn it back on? I'm using Outlook 2003 (11.8118 -
etc. - SP2). Thanks.

um.... that is the normal icon for the junk folder.

Do you have all the latest updates installed?

Thanks Diane. Sorry. I never noticed untill it stopped working. SP2
installed, nothing else outstanding when I visit the microsoft website. I
just emptied the blocked senders file, and that didn't help. I've viewed a
couple hundred posts and found a few with the same problem, and no definitive
answers.
