How do I undelete a record in access

If you've not done ANYTHING ELSE (no new data entry, no shut-down, nothing
that causes Access to do a "write"), there's an outside chance that the
record might be restored. If you are still in the same table (or form), you
might be able to use the Edit menu to undo a delete. Also, there's a
Microsoft Knowledge Base article (don't recall the number) that deals with
restoring a deleted table/records.

The general answer, however, is you don't. Access even warns you that you
will lose the deleted information. If you haven't made a backup copy before
doing the delete, you may just be out of luck.

Basically, you can't.

The easiest way is to restore it from a backup or enter it again.

You don't.

Why did you delete a record that you wanted to keep? ;-\

In situations where I don't want records deleted
accidentally, I have a YesNo field in the table that can be
used to filter out records that I marked deleted, but are
still there.
