How do I undo auto reply to email?

D

Before I left on vacation, I went into my email to set up an auto reply
saying I was gone. Now that I'm back -- I can't remember what I did and am
having no luck in undoing the autoreply. I've searched through the help stuff
and didn't use the outlook assistant and so nothing I've found helps me. I
know it's something simple -- can't remember though what it was. Please help!

What version of Outlook? Check your rules, if you didn't use the Out of
Office Assistant then that's where you're probably going to find it.
Tools -> Rules and Alerts is where it is in Outlook 2003.

Typically, it would be either Tools, Out Of Office Asst, or it would be
Tools, Rules and Alerts.

Could it be a rule?
Or did you set it up via the web based mailbox at your ISP perhaps?

The only thing under rules says "clear categories on rules" -- I don't think
that applies -- does it?

I could have set it up with the ISP web based whatever -- but I don't know
how to fix that either. Thanks!

Did you have to leave your computer on and Outlook open while you were gone?
If not, you set it up with your mail provider.

How to fix it? Contact your mail provider and ask them to turn it off.

My computer was off.

Then logic dictates you need to contact whoever provides your mail. If your
computer was off then no setting that you could have done on your home PC
could have done anything to respond to messages, as it wasn't turned on to
receive and act on them in the first place.

If you receive your email from your internet provider, give them a call. If
you use something else (Hotmail, Gmail, etc) then you need to log into your
mail and change it back.

It is quite usefull but it doesn't work if your computer or Outlook is
