How do I uninstall a corrupt Office 2007 beta w/o a CD

O

oi

I paid the nominal fee and downloaded the Office 2007 beta 2. The trial
period ended today. I uninstaled from the control panel. The error message
said I have a corrupt install and need to use the original CD to uninstall.
Since I downloaded from Microsoft website I don't have the CD. I purchased
the full upgrade but it will not upgrade over the trial beta version.

Patrick or anyone else, I tried using the RTM instructions below and all
other links to resolve my problem, but still won't work. When I try to remove
any of the beta 2007 programs, I keep getting: This product has been
corrupted. Run setup again from the cd, dvd, or other original installation
source. Used other links, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218/en-us. Can
someone help me in removing beta completly so I can go back to office 2003?

Patrick, going foward to step two, in this steck I get the error. This
installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists.
When I get this error is with any file that has .msi and is associated with
microsoft office 2007. It seems I'm not getting anywhere in removing the 2007
beta.

Just move past the steps involving MSI's. the Registry and file deletion
steps take care of everything eventually.
