How do I uninstall Office 97 Standard without the CDs?

I have a PC running Office 97 Standard but no longer have
the CDs. I just purchased Office XP standard and was
going to uninstall 97, but the uninstall process will not
complete without the original CDs. I figure installing
Office XP over Office 97 will great problems somewhere,
so I would really like to uninstall Office 97 first.
