How do I unlock a document on Microsoft 2003 Word and Pubulishers.

I am attempting to revise some work and I can't do any modifications because
the program is locked. My icon menu is limited in comparison to its regular
selection. Does anyone know how I can resolve this technicallity.

Were you using a trial version? Sounds like it. If that's the case,
the trial period has probably expired. So you'll need to purchase the
software to continue using it.

It sounds as if you are in what we call "reduced functionality mode". This
can happen for various reasons (significant hardware changes, expiration of
a trial version, skipped activating too many times, etc).

If a Trial version expired:
