When doing new things, always use a copy of your file in case something goes
wrong.
Find the empty square at the junction of the top of the row-numbers and at
the left of the column-numbers and Right-click on it. This should
highlight your entire sheet. Then choose Format Cells, then the Alignment
Tab, then un-check the "Merge cells" box, and OK
