How do I update one column in access from one column in excel

I need to update 300 records in Access DB one column called "Schedule Date"
from data that has been entered into Excel Spreadsheet with a column call
"Schedule Date". Only need to update the "Schedule Date" on individual 300
records that I need to update this column only.

How will you (*or Access*) know which record gets which updated Schedule
Date?
