How do I update publisher 2000?

I installed Publisher 2000 from my Office 2000 software on a new computer. I
installed the Publisher 2000 only becuase I am using a more recent XP version
for all else. question: How do I update the publisher 2000 so I am
compatible with 2003 and can receive and work on documents created by pub
2003?
