Hi, I purchased a powerbook and office last month, I was told that I will
receive a free upgrade of office. Where and how do I claim this ? Am I
supposed to receive this via mail or should I go to the store where I
purchased it and show proof.

Thanks,

Go to the Mactopia <www.microsoft.com/mac> site and click on the Technology
Guarantee link at the bottom of the page.

This should take right to it:
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/default.aspx?pid=office2004tg>

From that page:

Can¹t wait to start using Office for Mac on Mac OS X? Start right away. If
you purchase Office v. X for Mac anytime between now and July 31, 2004, you
will be able to get Office 2004 for free. (Shipping and handling not
included.)

Simply download and print the Technology Guarantee Coupon below and follow
the instructions to get the product upgrade.

Does the information below only apply to Retail Packs?

I bought six OPL licenses fro MS Office 10 and would like to know if I get a
free upgrade as well
