I am trying to set up a relative hyperlink in a form using "datasheet view"
in Microsoft Access. Ideally the users will only have to enter or copy the
names of the files - all of which are stored in one folder on a central
machine on our LAN - and when they click the link, the file will open. I
have set the hyperlink base to the path to that central folder, but Access
insists on inserting "http://". When I manually "edit hyperlink" and remove
the http, everything works perfectly, but every new entry gets saved with
"http://". I have done some searching, but the only answers I can find
involve Visual Basic. I'm hoping that there is some way to simply use the
hyperlink base function with the path I've set.
Thanks!
