How do I use my infrared beam to transfer files to my PDA at work?

How do I use my infrared beam to transfer files back and forth to my PDA. I
know I can sync the PDA but I have problems with this at work sometimes which
is why I want to use the infrared beam to transfer the files...

HELP PLEASE.

Not an Office problem - see the manufacturer of your PDA and desktop to
ensure you have IR installed on both and have synch set up on both.

Oh, and that your employer allows personal devices to attach to a corporate
network - a true no-no in well-run companies.
