How do i use "SumIf" based on two data ranges?

Hi to all the helpful people here. I am assuming that the answer to my
problem lies with the SumIf function, but I am not sure how it is to be done!!

I have the following data in the first worksheet. One column of data is
customer name, 2nd column is Sales value, 3rd colum is salesman. The data
shows the sales value of each invoice, the customer who the sale was made to,
and the salesman who made that sale. Therefore, the customer column will have
multiple entries for some customers, and the salesman column will have
multiple entries for the salesmen. This is because some customers buy items
more than once in each period, and most salesmen sell more than one item in
each period.

What I am trying to do on separate sheets (a sheet for each saleman) is show
the total value of sales for each customer that that particular salesman
achiveved in that period. Can anyone show me the way please?? I am using
Excel 2002.

All help most appreciated
