how do i use the same slide and have pictures fade in and out

I am trying to make a slide for my brothers recent wedding i would like the
photos to fade in and out with select songs playing if anyone can help me
figure this i would really appreciate it!

You can paste different photos on every slide, then go to Slide Show > Slide
Transition. Then choose the transition: fade smoothly.

As for playing of sounds, check this out:
