How do I use Win2000 fax application via my broadband modem?

Running Win2000 Professional. Want to send/receive faxes using broadband adsl
modem. System says it can't find a modem (presume it's looking for a dial
up).

Can anyone help please?

YOu will need either an analog modem or a line splitter to use fax services.
They do not use broadband connections.
