I have a MS Project file which did not shut down correctly and is now coming
up with an error message when you try open the file. The message reads as
follows: 'The operation cannot be completed because the source file contains
invalid project data or the total number of rows would exceed the limit of
1,048,000 rows in a project. Validate the data in the source file, insert
fewer rows, delete some rows, or consider dividing your project into
subprojects to provide more space for tasks and resources.'
Is there any way to validate the information contained within the file and
recover it as there are definately not the number of tasks listed as being
the problem. I cannot currently open the file to try identify which tasks are
causing the error to be generated, although I did get a message before it
shut down to say that the information could not be saved as it was an
incompatible version!
