How do I vertically align text in a text box?

I have typed some horizontally oriented text, centered in a text box. How do
I vertically center these text?

There's no built-in way to do this in Word as there is in Publisher, but you
can fake it. Either add Spacing Before to get the desired results (by
eyeballing) or insert a single (unbordered) table cell and use the vertical
alignment control for tables to vertically center the text.
