How do I view a gmail accouint as well as an imap?

Matt

I have been using outlook 2003 for an imap account, but when I added a gmail
account, I can't view the inbox for the gmail account. I can send e-mails
from the gmail account but I can't view/download the inbox. There is a gmail
folder in the mail section of the navigation pane that has all the normal
folders in it, but the inbox is always empty even though I have e-mails in my
gmail inbox and new e-mails don't appear.

Thanks

it sounds like it's not downloading mail. Did you click the send/receive
button and see if it works?

Make sure your incoming server port (POP3) is set to 995 and "This server
requires an encrypted connection (SSL)" is checked.

The send/recieve button did the trick, but do I have to hit that everytime i
want it to download, or is there some way to specify that I want it to
download whenever i open the inbox?

Thanks for the help

Alt+Ctrl+S, add a check to automatically send and receive every xx minutes.
We recommend you set it to 8-10 minutes minimum.
