How do I view appointments on a secondary personal calendar on my.

I have a personal folder for my family appointments. I would like to see
those appointments on my main calendar but keep the two separate. I realize
that I can code these appointments as private or something else etc. on my
main calendar but I would really like to maintain two separate calendars.
any thoughts?
