Hi Stacey,
While MS Office 2007 will continue to ship the MS Script Editor, which was used to view source from within Word 2000, 2002 and 2003,
MS has chosen to break the internal links to the Script Editor, apparently for security concerns, so that you will have to view
source either in your browser using Word's Web Page Preview command (you can add that Word command it to the Quick Access Toolbar
from the File=>Word Options=>Customization area) or as Robert mentioned, using an editor outside of Word completely to open the HTML
in source code view. MS Office Sharepoint Designer 2007 (replacement for MS Office FrontPage) should be able to open the source of
Word web documents, but the ability to switch back and forth from HTML source view to make a change and to have that render in the
open Word document for you from the script editor has been taken out.
=========
I can see the rendered HTML in the web layout view, but how do I see the actual HTML code?>>

I hope this helped you,
