How do I view images attached to an email in the preview pane?

How do I setup Microsoft Outlook 2000 so that I can see any images attached
to an email in the preview pane?

I understand if it's a document or program this can not be viewed, but
images should be able to be viewed.

I don't want to have to click each image to view it. Microsoft Outlook
Express does this just fine, however I am wanting to move to Outlook and can
not work out how to do it.

Can it be done??

You can't - this is not an Outlook function.
