how do I view pagebreak in draft mode please?

Hi - I like to work in draft mode on Word 2007 but I can't seem to force a
pagebreak as we did in the good on 2003 days. This means if you have a load
of two line pages - telephone messages etc - then you can't see a lot on one
screen - you are permanently scrolling up and down to check things.

We only got 2007 installed recently and its driving us mad......... please
help someone!

If you are trying to create a new window or split the current window, you'll
find options for that on the View ribbon tab, in the Window group.

I'm not sure what exactly you're trying to do: view pagebreaks (as in your
subject line) or force pagebreaks (as in the message body). If the former,
there may not be a way; I thought that Draft view in Word 2007 would display
page breaks if you had nonprinting characters (formatting marks) displayed,
but I can't seem to get it to do so at the moment. You can certainly force a
page break with Ctrl+Enter as in the past, and manual pages breaks are
displayed in both Draft and Print Layout views.

What you may find an acceptable substitute (increasingly I do) is to work in
Print Layout view with the "white space between pages" hidden. To get this
view, mouse over the area between two pages until you get the ScreenTip
"Double-click to hide white space" and then double-click (you can reverse
the action by double-clicking again when you get that prompt). This will
give you a document view that displays continuous text (it suppresses not
only top and bottom margins but also any empty space at the bottom of the
page) but is also more WYSIWYG than Draft view (which I have discovered is
considerably less accurate than Normal view in previous versions).
