How do I view pictures that have been copied and pasted from the .

My pictures don't show in Word documents and Powerpoint slides when I copy
and paste them from the internet. I can see a box that looks like a text
box, but no picture appears. What can I do to fix this problem? I have
Office 2003.

A suggestion, but are you saving your pics to a local file folder then
Insert / Picture / from file?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it, but I get an error message when I
try to insert the picture. When I save it to a file folder, I only have two
options as to how to save it...one is as ART and the other is as BITMAP.
Then when I go to insert the picture, I am asked to convert the file from a
drop down menu of choices, none of which is ART or BITMAP. I am not sure
what to do then. Thanks for your help. EJ

Thanks for your help. I tried to do what you suggested, but when I got to
the point where I had chosen the picture from the file, I got a window that
said conert file from and then a drop down menu. I have tried about all of
them and I keep gettin an error message. EJ

What Office version? Are you editing the files in Photo Editor, Picture
Manager or 3rd party software do a save as to gif or jpg then do the file
insert?
