how do I view WORD files names in alphabetical order

on opening my folder, the file names do not appear in alphabetical order. how
can i rearrange them permanently?

G'Day Karen,

While looking at the file names, change to 'Details' view.
Headings for File, Size, Type etc will appear.
Click on the heading for 'File' to sort as you like, then
restore the original view.
