How do I write a good resignation letter to employer?

Need assistance in writing a resignation letter to my employer which also has
became a friend over several years. I worked with this same employer before
at another company when he was the Vice President of the company, now he owns
this company that I am resigning from to go to another job with potential to
making more money and having more benefits.

Tell him that you have enjoyed your time with the company (the company now
sucks), that the partnership that you have had was good (he is still a
megalomaniac), but that you feel a change in direction (anything but work
for him, the pompous ass) would be good for you (thank god you finally have
seen sense), that the other company has offered more money (even street
cleaners get paid more their worth than you.. you have been used), and has
more benefits (not working for a insufferable Vice President who since
becoming President has gotten even worse) and that you hope that they find
somebody who can continue your good work (that somebody will also tell him
to shove the job where the sun don't shine, unless he changes his
attitude).. :).. there.. job done..

Can you forge references?..

And what is this to do with Office? Write whatever you feel like.

Well... it's a good bet that he *works* in an "office". :)

(That's the problem with using common words to name computer products... I
keep waiting for Corel Toilet to show up on the shelves of software stores.)
