How do I you split an existing schedule into Two file in project?

I am wondering if there are any easy ways to split an existing schedule file
in project, into two project files without loseing the logic. I would like to
be able to have multiple people working inth the files so need to break this
out. There are roughly 3500 lines in my current file, I would like to split
roughly in half per file. Thanks

Nothing so easy as pressing a button. If your plan is well-structured,
meaning you do not have dependencies running every which way in the plan,
then this can be a very simple exercise. If your original plan does not
follow a smoot waterfall type structure, this becomes very difficult. It is
a manual process no matter how you approach it.
