How do I ...

How do I insert the current time in a cell?

I found how to insert the date but I can't find how to insert the
current time. The NOW function inserts the date and time but it changes
to the current time whenever the spreadsheet is open. I got a clock and
a watch for that. I want to put in the time when I use an inhaler and I
don't want it to change.

Hopefully there is a way to do this.

Ctrl + colon or Ctrl + Shift & semicolon
Basically do as with dates but hold down shift key as well

Thank you thank you.

It is Cntrl + Shift + semicolon

I don't know why they make it so hard to find simple things like this.

I looked through the help in excel 2003 and couldn't find this. Maybe
I'm just stupid.

Not stupid, just have to know what keyword(s) to enter in your search through
Help.

Help>Answer Wizard "shortcut keys"(no quotes) should give you most of what you
need to know.

OR download Chip Pearson's workbook with the shortcut keys outlined.
