how do insert a running head into a word doucment?

I need to insert a brief (2-3 words) heading in the upper right margin, along
with page numbers. into a word document. All headings will be the same. Any
help would be appreciated.

You could start with View|Header and Footer, which will give you access to
both the Header and Footer, and inserting your heading, plus you get a
toolbar for inserting page numbers, etc. The formatting is up to you.
