How do put the same note onto all contacts within a catagory?

I'm using Outlook 2003 & I have several contacts in the same catagory. How
can I put a note or journal entry onto all the contacts within the catagory?
I do NOT want to copy /paste the note onto each individual contact
individually.

With some VBA code it should be possible, without I wouldn't know a way to
do that.
